Necklaces each consisting each of a number of strings made from the fiber of the ivare tree. It is made and worn by girls only during their period of circumcision. These are worn after circumcision to counteract swelling. They are worn until they are fully recovered and later give them to their mothers who wear them until they are completely worn out.The next daughter in the family to be circumcised will have new one made for her. It was never sold at all.
