Needlework, Susan B Anthony's cross-stitch sampler

Cross-stitch sampler created by Susan B Anthony 1831-34. The sampler lists the names of Susan's parents and siblings, with their birthdates. Although the stitches note "Susan Anthony aged 11 years," her two youngest siblings must have been added since they were not born until after 1831. A photo of Susan B Anthony's study after 1900 shows this sampler resting on her daybed. (A gift in 2010 from the estate of Joan Dalton Miller, granddaughter of Ann Anthony Bacon, Susan's niece.)
