Neelmani Devi - master potter

Neelamani Devi was born in Thongjao, Manipur and received her early lessons in pottery making from her mother. She lost her parents during childhood, but she went on to revolutionize the art of pottery making in India, and taking up a profession traditionally dominated by men. This is still from her story.
