Nelson Mandela laughed as he viewed the 86th birthday gift from fellow former prisoner Mac Maharaj, a replica of the birthday gift from forty years previous. After a prison cell visit from the press in 1977, the media mistakenly identified the framed National Geographic image from the Andaman Islands as a portrait of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.
