A lead sculpture, representing a Nereid nymph, perhaps Thetis. It is composed of a large stone shell, inside which a sea nymph sits on the back of a large dolphin with scales. In her right hand, she holds a set of three trays from which water spouts. Leaning against the dolphin are two tritons, male figures whose legs end in scaly fish tails. One is holding a tray and the other is playing a cornet, from which water spouts. A third triton is lying on his back in front of the dolphin, holding an aquatic creature (a fish or a serpent). Eleven dolphins emerge from the stone shell supporting the sculptural group, which in turn, is supported by six hybrid male figures, submerged up to their waists, playing cornets from which water spouts.
The stone base that serves as a support for the sculpture has a rocaille decoration and was designed by Jean Baptiste Robillion.
