Netzley/Yender interior wall

This picture shows lath and plaster construction, where thin boards are held together with plaster. This type of construction was cheaper than other types of construction and also allow heat to travel through it to other rooms. These two reasons are probably why all of the interior walls of the Beaubien Tavern are made of lath and plaster.
