The New Zealand team was the first major touring team to travel from the Southern Hemisphere to play in Britain and Ireland. They were a terrific team that played rugby at a level of athleticism and skill previously not seen in this country. This jersey was from that tour. It is not sure whether it was worn when the New Zealand team played Wales but it is definitively a jersey that was worn on the tour. The All Blacks won all of their matches on the tour except the match with Wales in Cardiff on 16th December 1905. With a try from Dr Teddy Morgan Wales won the match 3-0. Arguably, this remains the most important match in Welsh Rugby history.
