NHS Hero - Dr Sekina Bakare - Intensivist

Emma says: "Dr Bakare works in the ICU at one of the worst hit hospitals in London during the peak of the pandemic. Working long days and nights, whilst also looking after 2 young boys at home. She has wanted to be a doctor since the age of 5 and cannot imagine wanting to do anything else.

I wanted to portray her inner calm, strength and serenity amidst the unprecedented chaos, intensity and uncertainty going on in the world around her. Not only is she a Hero, I see her as a Goddess."
