The four original members of Fanny were June Millington (guitar, vocals), Jean Millington (bass, vocals), Alice de Buhr (drums, vocals), and Nickey Barclay (keyboards, vocals).
Nickey Barclay was the final piece of the puzzle that made up the original band, Fanny. Not only a prolific songwriter who wrote many of the Fanny “rockers,” she was also a genius on keyboards and vocals. Nickey recorded all four of the original Fanny albums, “Fanny,” “Charity Ball,” “Fanny Hill” and “Mothers Pride.” She and Jean would continue as the core of the fifth album released on Casablanca records in 1974.
