Niterói Contemporary Art Museum

From the historic to the futuristic, Rio de Janeiro houses the Museum of Contemporary Art, located in Niterói. The futuristic shape created by Oscar Niemeyer has become a landmark of modern world architecture. Surrounded by a water mirror, the museum´s large external concrete ramp, distinctive with its red floor, takes visitors to the upper floors with a panoramic view of Guanabara Bay and the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Niterói.
