No Roots No Shoots

Handiwirman Saputra’s work is a site specific installation that is made specifically for the showroom in Jogja National Museum. Handiwirman wanted to build associations on what's left behind after an ‘incident’. Handiwirman presents the objects he used as a construct that potentially provokes emotion and stories. At the same time, he tested the sensitivity of the audience to see it solely as a ‘visual phenomenon’.
