Noh mask Asakura-jo (old man)

Asakusa-jo is characterized by its implanted-hair mustache and beard as well as by its open mouth. Since it looks rather openhearted among the Jo masks, it is often used for the role of a warrior’s ghost incarnated as a fisherman or a woodcutter.
