Jido is a young boy sprite who possesses eternal youth and immortality. His mysterious smile is something different from other children’s.
This mask is used for the Mae-shite (a leading role in the first half of a Noh play) in “Oeyama” or the Nochi-shite (a leading role in the latter half of Noh play) in “Tenko”.
