Noh mask Kantan-otoko

This mask used to be exclusively employed for the title role of “Kantan”, in which a young man dreams of his prosperity during his nap and awakes to realize the vanity of human life. Since the mask shows the toughness of the youth as well as the gracefulness of the Chujo mask, it came to be used for the role of a dashing god as well.
