nowlight creates instant light and power from the pull of a cord. By leveraging uniquely efficient bio-mechanics and the latest battery technology, just one minute of pulling will create up to 2 hours of light. nowlight is the world’s most efficient manually powered generator and is the first manually powered device that can provide Tier 1 energy access. A fully charged nowlight will provide up to 50 hours of light and up to four additional ‘SatLights’ can be powered by the main unit, so you can spread the light around. A USB output means nowlight can also be used to charge mobile devices, with one minute of pulling creating enough power for 15 minutes of talk - time on a typical mobile phone. nowlight is a hybrid product and can also be charged from mains electricity or a solar panel. This means our customers can make the most of grid electricity and sunlight when they are available but crucially they will never have to rely on them. For those who want access to electricity anywhere for off-grid adventures, from hiking and camping to music festivals and overloading, nowlight is a useful source of light and power. For the 2 billion people who live without reliable access to electricity or who, nowlight is a vital source of energy.
