Miliţa Petraşcu (1892 –1976) was a Romanian portrait artist and sculptor, part of the Romanian „avant-garde movement” during the interwar period, widely considered the most talented Romanian woman sculptor of the 20th century.
The „Nude” in Cotroceni National Museum’s heritage is a small size statue, depicting a woman resting on some kind of a chair, with arms behind her back, with a sleeping like mimic.
This statue can be seen on the visiting tour of the Cotroceni National Museum, being displayed in Queen Marie’s apartment.
