Nunnery Old House

A note on the sketch states: "Sketch of the Nunnery near Douglas, Isle of Man. The residence of Major Taubman. It is so called from the ancient structure formerly occupying the same site, but of which not a vestige remains except a gateway still supporting the old Bell but not forming an entrance to the stables. Taken by William Latham August 1922."
