Daily Herald Photograph: Whaling

One photograph titled ‘Hunting the whale in the Antarctic’. Part of the title on the back reads: ‘…When there are other whales to be pursued, those already harpooned are “flagged” in the manner illustrated. The birds are feeding on the “krill” disgorged by the whale in its death flurry.’
