Śri -Devi is another name of Lakshmi, who is the goddess of wealth and Vishnu’s consort. This image of Sri-Devi shows her standing on a lotus pedestal, holding a stalk of lotus (signifying purity) in the raised left hand. Elaborately decorated with jewellery from her high crown to the anklets, her adornments include a girdle on her waist.
