The pianist Eduardo Resende (teacher at Conservatory of Music of Porto)

Eduardo Resende, started his piano studies at the age of six, with Marília Rocha. At the Oporto Music Conservatory he studies with Isabel Rocha, Hélia Soveral and concluded the Piano course under Professor Fausto Neves. At the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo do Porto he studied with Fernando Jorge Azevedo and Pedro Burmester. In the area of performance, he completed his Master's Degree in Music at the University of Aveiro under the guidance of Nancy Harper and Graça Mota. Since 1991, he has been a teacher of the piano class at the Oporto Conservatory of Music and was Coordinator of the Curricular Department. Over the years, his merit as a teacher has been recognized through the many awards her students have won in various piano competitions. He is regularly invited to teach courses in technique and piano interpretation in several schools in the country.
