At the summit of Ben Nevis in Scotland, at 4,400 feet of altitude, a crew of meteorologists took observations for a continuous 21 years. Recordings were taken every hour of the day and night, by all weathers. Temperatures, rain levels, wind speed, cloud coverage, visibility, types of precipitation and lightning were noted.
