Pre-Columbian mirror made with a polished obsidian. Commonly known as "The Incas mirror" actually belongs to the Aztec civilization. These mirrors were used by Mesoamerican cultures to communicate with the spirit world, probably related to the Aztec god Tezcatlipoca. This specimen was donated to MNCN in 1925.
