Obudu Mountain Resort is one of the most popular tourist locations in Nigeria. It is also one of 3 plateaux in the country, and is about 2850 feet at its highest point. It is located in the northern region of Cross River state, about 360km from Calabar, the capital city. Attractions on the plateau include a resort, cable car commute, winding access road, a nature reserve for bird-watching and wildlife spotting, many waterfalls, endless views of scenic hilly landscape and resident indigenous communities.
