There is news of the first strikes:

1894: Santa Fiora
1901: Abbadia S. Salvatore strike seven days to get the reduction.
1906: Strike at Cornacchino
1907: Strike at Abbadia San Salvatore of the period of 38 days for elimination of night work, reduced working hours and wage increases.
1911-1912: strikes to Siele, Cornacchino, Solforate, Morone and Abbadia S. Salvatore.
1913: strike for over a month in Santa Fiora, Castell'Azzara, Selvena.
1919: Strike at Siele for 135 days 28/6 - 9/11.
1919: Strike at Abbadia San Salvatore for 95 days 28/6 - 2/10.
