Weston's Odeon opened on 25 May 1935. It was one of five Odeons designed for the chain by T Cecil Howitt. The Odeon was built by C Bryant & Son Ltd of Birmingham on the site of the former Electric Premier Cinema, and included an integrated parade of shops.
