Oglala Lakota Sioux Vest

Vest made of bison hide, fully beaded and decorated with porcupine quills, made by a Sioux woman during the Early Reservation Period. The Elk Dreamers depicted on this vest are significant, for it is through dreams that one may receive the supernatural powers of that creature.
