Belva Lockwood's campaign issued very little in the way of campaign memorabilia, although there were rumors that she was thinking about having a ribbon manufactured. This campaign card, featuring an engraved portrait of her, is one of the few handouts, apart from position papers and pamphlets, that she distributed. There do exist several cartes de visite and cabinet photos that contain her portrait. These may have been distributed during her campaign as memorabilia or simply given out or sold later to interested persons.
