Okhli (Mortar & Pestle)

This okhli was recorded at a residence in Dungarpur where the family were traditional Ayurvedic practitioners. They used the okhli to grind medicinal plants and herbs to make Ayurvedic concoctions. The narrow spout-like ends were used to drain the liquid out.
