Old Banqueting Hall, Alexandra Palace

The Banqueting Hall, later known as the Blandford Hall, in Alexandra Park. The building was erected prior to Alexandra Palace as a shelter and refreshment hall able to accommodate 10,000 people. It also served to demonstrate the type of activities that the larger building would host.
