At the launch site in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, Expedition 50-51 crewmember Oleg Novitskiy of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) is greeted by a Russian space official upon the crew’s arrival Nov. 1 following a flight from their training base in Star City, Russia. On the left is NASA’s Peggy Whitson and behind Novitskiy is Thomas Pesquet of the European Space Agency. The three crewmembers will launch Nov. 18, Baikonur time, on the Soyuz MS-03 spacecraft for a six-month mission on the International Space Station.
