Olive ridley copulation. Mating process takes place either on the surface or under water. Courtship usually begins several weeks before the nesting season. The male attach himself to the back of the female's shell, using his claws to hold her and then fold their tail under the female´s shell to copulate.
Olive ridleys distribution: Tropical and sub-tropical seas, the Pacific and Indian oceans. In the Atlantic, they may be found in South America and off the West coas of Africa.
