Omega project spark chamber prototype

Aa half-scale frame for an optical spark chamber. It carried very thin aluminium foil (10 \x rather than the usual 25 \x) and one side of the frame (on the left) was only 1 mm of aluminium so that low energy particles could escape from Omega and be detected outside the magnetic field.
