Open-Air Museum

1300 families, about 4 thousand people live in Icherisheher having an area of 22 hectares. There are about 500 world-famous historical and architectural monuments of world, republic and local importance in this museum-city, which is located under the wide open sky. The Fortress Walls, Khanagah – religious-architectural complex with arcade, “Icherisheher” Traditional Art Center, Museum of Miniature Books, House Museum of Tahir Salahov and Baku Marionette Theater are demonstrated at the exhibition.
