Visitors view the GAA Firehouse Mural, by Mario Dubsky and John Button, at the building's official opening. The 40'x8' mural was a collage, featuing pictures of protest marches, prominent activists, and nude models overlaid with stencilled slogans. Visible slogans include "Oppression," zap, "Struggle" and "Gay Power." The mural was destroyed during a 1974 arson attack on the Firehouse.
