The Orø Cross. A reliquary cross on a chain ending with animal heads, found on Orø in the Isefjord, Zealand in 1849 by a young girl, Bodil Margrethe Hansdatter, and sometimes called The Margrethe Cross after her. The inscriptions include OLAFC VNVnCE (Olaf King) most likely the Norwegian king St. Olaf. The cross is of Nordiv manufacture c 1100 with Byzantine influence.
