Orange trees in the afternoon –An Algarvian landscape

This work of art depicts a rural setting located in the Algarve countryside. The place is covered with orange trees bearing abundant fruit that, together with the lavish palette provided by the yellow flowers, fill the site with rich color splashes. In the distance, we get a glimpse of silhouettes of women who are probably harvesting oranges. The clouds open briefly so we can have a glance at the indigo sky they are shrouding.
