Orchesterprobesaal

During the renovations the old orchestra rehearsal room in the theatre management building was used as the venue for the 2013/2014 season of the construction site concerts given by Staatskapelle Berlin and for the production of "Macbeth" by Salvatore Sciarrino, staged by Theatre Manager Jürgen Flimm. In the future, the Staatskapelle will be rehearsing in another larger room and the old orchestra rehearsal room - notwithstanding the name - together with the other rooms in the rehearsal complex will house small performances and series of events of the Staatsoper.
