Original 17th century terracotta floor

In 2005 the five windows of the Hall of Augustus were reopened, which had been closed in the Napoleonic era and which overlook the Courtyard of Honor. Having remained walled up for almost two centuries, they have kept intact the yellow and red terracotta flooring arranged in alternating colors.
