Original Mantelpiece in the L.P. Grant Mansion

When built in 1854-1856, the L.P. Grant Mansion boasted nine fireplaces. This mantelpiece is one of the few remaining original pieces that survived decades of neglect, fires, and other damage to the house in the mid to late twentieth century.
