Ornament

This bird-shaped ornament is made from leather and cotton sateen fabric. The wings, tail, and center line of the body are beaded with white seed beads and brown cylindrical beads. A pink, cloth berry hangs from the mouth of the bird. The ornament was acquired sometime during the 1930's from a Nez Perce at the Lewiston Roundup Parade.
