Osaka favorite: Kuidaore Doll (food-indolging doll)

Kuidaore Taro stands in front of Chuza Kuidaore Building in Dotonbori. Its known for its red and white striped clothing and round black glasses. It appeared in 1949 as a store statue of restaurant Osaka Specialty Kuidaore. The store closed in 2008, but the figure still remains as Osaka's favorites.
