The Osborne 2, or Executive model, had a larger screen size than the first mass-produced portable computer, the Osborne 1. This Limited Edition version was personalized for Osborne employees with a nameplate and custom boot screen. Despite its initial success, Osborne declared bankruptcy in 1983, becoming the prototype victim of sudden, devastating, technology crashes in high-tech economies.
