The girl depicted in this print is called Osen. She worked in a teahouse located near the Kasamori Inari Shrine and was very famous for her beauty. It is said that many men visited the shrine and then the teahouse to see her. The samurai gazing at Osen holds kiseru (Japanese pipe) and there is a tobacco tray on the bench.
