Ostrich Feather finery of the Moran (warrior) full dress uniform is reserved for important ceremonies like the graduation of the warriors during the Eunoto ceremony (transition to manhood). In the past it was a symbol of terror for cattle raiders. Kenya’s renowned photojournalist Mohamed (Mo) Amin, also known as ‘Six Camera Mo’, produced a comprehensive pictorial record of these remarkable people entitled “The Last of the Maasai”.
