Otto

<otto> was first shown in 《Short Cuts》 exhibition held in Centre PasquArt of Biel, Switzerland in 2015, and shared points where art, design, and technology cross in cooperation with Wilm Thoben. Based on this, <otto> conducted a drawing of many artifacts, that is, working note, diagram, sketch, and research data. Instant and choreographic writing and drawing works remind us of desomatization embedded in gestures and creative expressions which make us human.

Jürg Lehni, a Swiss artist and designer has researched drawing and writing which are fundamental methods of visual expressions as mechanic behavior. Among drawing machine fixed on a wall, the latest work <otto>(2015) systematically sketches events that are chosen(and interpreted) by artists ad critical thinking in the history of art and design.
