Copper engraving by anonymous author. The image shows a religious image of Our Lady of Mercy or the Virgin of Mercy, one of the Marian invocations of the Virgin Mary. The iconography to its representation was defined from the 16th century and consists of the Mercedarian habit: tunic, scapular and cape, all in white, with the Mercedarian shield on the chest. She wears a queen's crown on her head. He shelters a group of people under his mantle, including prisoners held captive in chains, nobles, clerics or guilds of any activity. In the upper central part is the Holy Spirit represented by a dove.
