Bombay High Court and Rajabai clocktower were built in the late 19th century in the Victorian Gothic style of architecture. These buildings were grand public architecture communicating imperial control. They also signified Bombay's rise to prominence in the late 19th century.

Oval Maidan is a 22 acres Grade I heritage property situated in South Mumbai, India. It is a significant heritage property in the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensemble of Mumbai", inscribed to the list on June 30, 2018.
