To show off the new 1931 President Four Season Roadster, Studebaker tasked their experimental body shop, headed by Paul Auman, to build a model of the car that was two-and-a-half times the actual size. The oversized President was 40 feet long and 14 feet tall, and was almost identical to regular-sized car except for the mounting of the spare tire. The Studebaker National Museum has one of the car's manhole cover-sized hubcaps on display.
