The swiftness of the German hyperinflation in 1923 forced authorities to re-stamp already issued banknotes and vouchers. This one hundred Mark voucher was originally issued in 1922 by the Anillin Factory in Ludwigshafen and re-issued in 1923 as a one hundred thousand Mark voucher by the Ammoniac Factory in Merseburg.
