Paco de Lucía was one of the most influential and renowned flamenco guitarists in the world. Born in Algeciras (Cádiz) in 1947, he revolutionised flamenco with his virtuosity and ability to fuse the genre with other musical styles such as jazz. Throughout his career, Paco de Lucía has accompanied singers as diverse as Pericón de Cádiz, during the tribute paid to him in his home town, or Antonio Mairena in La Unión in 1974.
Enrique Montoya Fernández, known as Enrique Montoya, born in Utrera on 21 September 1928 and died in the same town on 28 July 1993, was a Spanish artist of copla and cante.
